What are your thoughts on the Calgary v. Edmonton game tomorrow?   Your picks are pretty good so far.  Respect, man. However, if you can pick the winner in this game, you are truly d'man.

I like Edmonton and the Under here. 

Mitchell is a young QB who played against not the greatest defenses in Toronto and Montreal. Without Cornish last week, the offense couldn't drive the whole field. Here, I consider the blow out against Toronto as an outlier game (a game you can't look to much into, because it probably wouldn't happen that way again). For the wide-outs, I can only see Fuller being a legit player that could score, however Edmonton defense should be able to contain him. 

Reilly, however played a full season last year, and is a treat to run. Calgary hasn't played any team with a running QB this year. Here, he also has White IV, who has shown he can run as well this season. For the wide-outs, Guyton has 23 recs and Guyton has 18 (while Fuller only has 12). Edmonton has to many scoring options, compared to Calgary. Plus, they got the home field crowd. I'm picking Edmonton +1 on Pinnacle at +100


Under? Strong defenses against young QBs. Pretty simple. If one of them has a bad game, we got an under. Edmonton, has a bad habit of scoring alot of points in the 4th quarter. If this happens, Calgary has the ability to stop them. Again, points to the Under. Support stat: Under is 4-1 when Edmonton is at home. I'm picking the Under 49.5 on Pinnacle at -106

Really impressive write-up.  I was leaning Edmonton myself, so I was happy when I read your write-up.  You also touched on something I was thinking, that is, Calgary's wins have all come against East teams, which is stacking up to be by far the weaker division this year. 

Besides, I made the mistake of betting against Edmonton in Week 1 v. B.C., and of course Edmonton won that game.

Well, your pick was good, it's just that Edmonton played horrible.  That is probably one of the worst football performances I ever.  If the Stamps' QB keep facing competition like that he will probably go 20 - 0.
