MONTREAL The Alouettes went 11-7 this year with their 7 losses coming against Winnipeg, Toronto and BC and them beating everyone else including the TiCats 3 times. It is hard to beat a team twice, let alone four times while playing the same team in back to back weeks. But I think the Alouettes pull this one out. Hamilton is starting Schiltz and we will also see Bo Levi play too at some point as they are scheduled to split reps. Both QBs bring different types of games to the table as Schiltz can run and has a cannon arm, and Bo Levi bring leadership and he's been here before having that experience. I like consistency at QB especially come playoff time which Hamilton doesn't seem to have. The TiCats have some dangerous weapons in Butler and White but Montreal's stellar defense should be able to contain them for the most part. Hamilton is hosting this years Grey Cup and they are 2 road wins away from a home Grey Cup playoff game which they could use as motivating material, until they realize they'd have to go through Toronto next week if they were to win this week. The Alouettes play great defense and rarely turn the ball over. They also will pound Stanbeck and let Fajardo manage the game. Montreal in a close one. 27-21 Alouettes
BC The Lions have a bitter taste in their mouth as they got SPANKED by Calgary in a must win game at home in hopes of keeping 1st place in the West alive. That is the last thing on their mind, is getting their butt kicked by the team they are about to get a rematch at home against that has bigger implications then their previous game did 2 weeks ago. BC comes out flying in this one and tries to ge a big lead early. The only chance Calgary has in this one is pound their 2 RBs and get it to Begelton as much as possible, but BC knows this too and will learn from their pounding 2 weeks ago. The Lions got trampled on the ground for over 200 yards that game. Build a lead and take away Calgary's run game forcing Maier to throw to his mediocre WRs (minus Begelton) should be BCs game plan. Calgary shouldn't be here (nor should the Riders). Calgary is 6-11 and made the playoffs! It is time for them to make their swift and quick exit. 38-19 Lions
