CFL is great IF: 1) you like playing dogs and 2) you like going against the public.
Half of the pointspread results happen in the last 3 minutes, just like the freakin' NBA.
So, I NEVER go against the public (>57% on covers consensus)....it is just a rule I use. Make myself run 26 miles with a weight vest on the next day if I break it.
Week 1 games:
1) Montreal Als +3
2) Hamiltion TCs +4'

2-0 to start,....doggy power is alive and well in the Great White North.
Was impressed by Hamilton, neither the Als or Blue Bombers impressed me too much.
Coaching staff of the Tiger Cats is exceptional and they throw the ball down the field....will have high offensive yards per pass this year and their QB has some escapability.
Both Montreal and Winnipeg look like UNDER teams to me this year based on what I saw first game.

Passing on the next two games.

Ottawa will definitely win I absolutely guarantee it (said one hour after their game has finished).
Ottawa looks better with the new qb rather than Henry Burris. Ottawa and Hamilton will make it a two horse race in the east.
Calgary doesn't look like much watching the first half of their game with BC, their defense maybe could be good again. Expect BC to improve A LOT after their first 5 games. Their defense already looks very, very good, their offense and special teams will get better.
Edmonton may have an issue with motivation after last season's championship, but they have by far the best qb in the division. Can he stay healthy the whole season? Could be a conglomeration of teams in the West .....and lots of upsets....which WE LOVE!
Of course the CFL will be just as wild and whacky as ever, that is certainly not going out on a limb.....when in doubt play a dog and an UNDER.
Here's a stat for you:
In regular season games in the CFL where the home team is favored going back 10 years, taking the AWAY DOG you would have covered close to 56% of the time, and the UNDER in those games has covered 55% of the time.
It is a dog league and under league.
