Calvillo, Trestman and crew have earned the right to be bet as home dogs. I'm always a guy who is big on getting good teams as home underdogs. Don't like that Richardson + London are out but the Als still have lots of weapons and a defense that gets healthier and better every week. I think these teams split this series and I'd rather the veteran team as a home pup rather than on the road in the west where they have been pretty bad the last few years. Lions need a wakeup call, they've been getting a little complacent.

Winnipeg/Saskatchewan UNDER 49

Lots of things combining me to bet a rare under bet. First of all winds are forecast to be whipping at 40 clicks gusting to 60 throughout the game. Safe to say downfield passing will be greatly minimized and this will be a short pass, run, field position game. Secondly, this was a high total to begin with between two questionable offenses and two defenses I feel are better than the stats show. SSK brought in Joe Lobendahn in this week and he'll start right away at MLB. This guy is an excellent run player which should be big in this game. Winnipeg's defense has been getting better as they are finally getting healthy. This game is going to be a grind in my opinion.

Ugh and now I'm reminded why I have a note that says to never bet a football Under under any circumstances because it is the flukiest bet in sports. Blocked punt for a TD and a fumbled kickoff leading to a TD pumps this one over. Saskatchewan really running it up here, they will pay for that next week.
