CFL Week 13

I've had a good feel for this team this year going 3-0 betting on or against them. This is a good spot for them similar to two weeks ago off a no show but also this week comes with the added motivation of showing some heart after numerous players were caught laughing on the sidelines during last week's blowout loss. Jobs are literally on the line this week. Another no show and they won't wait until the end of the year to clean players out. Plus Bucky coming back gives them a much needed shot in the arm. Crazy thought but IMO this is one of the 3 or 4 most talented offensive teams in the league at the skill positions. Even a half decent QB like Bucky can put points up with this group. Hamilton's defense has no business laying more than a score on the road. Peg is also always good for a fight at home going 4-1 ATS so far this year.


Saskatchewan +2

Less than a month ago these two teams met here and the line was SSK -5. So with each team playing only 3 games between then and now and both doing well (CGY 3-0, SSK 2-1) why on earth has this line moved SEVEN points?!? Craziness. I watched that game last week and Saskatchewan has a good group. They are really coming together on defense with Lobendahn now in the middle. This unit is ranked 2nd in the league and are playing like it. Who knows what would have happened last week had they not had 17 penalties for 180 yards: two totals I don't ever recall seeing. Calgary is an up and down team. They'll blow someone out every once in a while but 3 of their wins have been by 3 points or less. The "concert brawl" and answering questions about off field nonsense such as that will do them no good in mindset or preparation for this game. Better defense at home in a revenge game as a dog, sounds delicious.

Good read as always Andy. Like em both. The locals are so incredibly down on this squad, which is deserved but after the debacle in Calgary last weekend, without question if they want a paycheck going forward, they are playing for it this weekend. The return of Buck bodes well also.

Good to see you Jim. Not sure what we are going to do without Pucks.

I really like how Bucky played the other night. He was really solid in really bad conditions. Granted he was playing the TiCats defense but Winnipeg just seems so much better when he is starting.
