There's just something about this Bombers team that is catching my eye lately. They are a scrappy group that looks to be putting something together to end the year. They've covered 3 of their last 4 and were a punt return TD away from 4 of 4. The offense has been looking really good lately, Winnipeg has committed to Buck Pierce longterm but Steven Jyles has come in and played really well. He looks like a very good quarterback and should be starting somewhere next year. They have a good running back, and now all of a sudden they may have one of the best receiving corps in the league. They've had Edwards and Bowman who have been dependable guys all year but they get Harris back this week who may have been their best player before he got hurt 2 months ago. Plus, they might have found a diamond in the rough in Greg Carr who was Florida State's 2nd all time touchdown leader. He came in last week in his first game and caught 2 TD's of over 70 yards on his first two catches. More importantly this guy is huge! He's 6'6 and receivers in this league just don't come that big. Harris is 6'3 or 6'4 as well. With all these guys in the lineup there are going to be matchup nightmares all over the field. BC's best DB is only 5'9. Winnipeg gets their best corner back this week from last season as he was released by the Detroit Lions.
It's hard to be down on BC after going out on the road and winning against maybe the best team in the CFL by 19 points but I am. This just goes to show how utterly retarded this coaching staff is. Casey Printers was finally playing well and getting into the flow of things with the offense (BC has averaged 34 PPG their last 5) but last week he had some fumble issues, many were the result of hits he's been taking behind a bad line, so Wally "DumDum" Buono decides to bench him for the backup. Then on top of that he decides that the backup will start this week! My god what a fucking dumbass. Obviously the locker room is divided and there are a lot of pissed off people. Only a clueless goof like Wally Buono could fuck up a good situation with a team that had been playing well.
GL this week gents.

Now that this line has dropped to 3 as game time approaches I think it's time to get back on the Stamps bandwagon. Calgary was horrible last week committing turnover after turnover and Burris was exceptionally bad, so much so that he was pulled. That will not sit well and will light a fire under his ass after maybe suffering a hangover last week as a huge fav off emotional game in Sasky. Now at home against the Champs (who swept Calgary last year) I expect to see a much, much more focused effort out of the Stamps. I'm still not sold on Montreal on the road either.
