MONTREAL -170----------TO WIN THE EAST---CLINCHED I posted in my Week 1 thread that Montreal to win the East at -170 in terms of value was one of best futures I've ever seen. True to form, I never had to sweat. It was a walk in the park. Hopefully next season we can spot another odds makers error.
HAMILTON +2.5 ( 4 units )Best Bet Is it time to fade Montreal ??? YES IT IS !! With the Alouettes clinching the East last week there is absolutely nothing to play for. Common sense and much needed rest take precedent over team pride. They already had a close call with Calvillo this year, they don't want a repeat of that. If anything they play their starters a little longer in WEEK 18 at home against the Argonauts knowing that the following week will be a bye. This is a much needed win for the TICATS.
CALGARY -9 ( 2 units ) We might never see this again in the CFL. B2B overtime losses in consecutive games. The bubble has burst in BC. There is no coming back from this one. Calgary rolls big here.
SASKATCHEWAN -2 ( 2 units ) SAS-EDM OVER 50 ( 2 units ) I'm gonna lay the points on the road here with the Roughriders who are trying to avoid a third loss in a row. The Esky's have been the beneficiary of soft schedule since week 13. Also taking the OVER in this game. Edmonton has gotten some if swagger back and we should see a high scoring game. Both secondary's are vulnerable. FINAL SCORE SASK 31 EDM 27.
good luck everyone.

I mentioned last week that the ALS usually coast at this time of year and was happy to see them give just enough to squeak out a win against the Bombers.....All the more reason to lay down this week.
You are right about the schedules of Sask.and Edm. lately and I agree with your prediction of the final score.Should be high scoring.
I'll be taking Hamilton ML and Sask....but I love this 10 1/2 pt. teaser also....
Ham. + 13
Sask. +7 1/2
Sask-Edm Over 40
A lot of fighting and finger pointing amongst the Lions but they did win in Calgary 4 games ago by a score of 29-10 as 11 pt. dogs. The Stamps coming off a big win in Sask. and their final games against Ham. and Winnipeg make me wonder if they will cover this spread. Pesonally I wouldn't touch this one even with a teaser either way.
Good Luck.

Hard to bet on Hamilton any time they line up agains the Als. They were crushed by a Calvilo-less Montreal team in week 11 @ home. If I remember right they had a chance to tie Montreal for 1st place that week and were flat out dominated.
I'll have to wait for more info on inuries/lineups in the next couple days. Currently tied for 1st in a CFL pool, this will be a tough call to make.

Thanks Clepto----I know you kind of disagreed with me on the Montreal future but I know your smarter than that. Heart over head had you hoping the Ticats would win the East.
