Montreal just clinched home field throughout the playoffs in the East and now have nothing to play for. I think they will mail in the rest of the regular season. They've stunk on the road all year, there's no reason to lay points with them in a good they don't care about. Hamilton does care about this game as not only are they still battling for 2nd in the East and a home playoff game but I think this will be a good test for them against Montreal in case of a playoff meeting. Good revenge spot for Hamilton too as Montreal whooped em here about a month ago.
GL this week.

Why does EVERYONE love the Cats tonight? There are 3 or 4 threads with people handing them a win tonight. I just don't get it. Sure, they need a win over Montreal, but, who doesn't need to win?
They are 1-14 in the last 15 games with Montreal. They are 0-5 against the top 3 teams in the CFL this year. From everything I've read this week Montreal will play for the win and are not looking to rest players (other than Cobourne).
I've heard "revenge" and "Montreal has nothing to play for" as the best reasons to pick Hamilton. Montreal didn't mail it in last year when they had clinched and had nothing to play for. And, the Cats couldn't even beat the Als without Calvillo earlier this year.
I REALLY want to pick Hamilton, I do think they need the win more, but, that's just not compelling enough for me to go with them. If anyone has some legitimate evidence I'd love to hear it.
GL everyone.

Glad I waffled and ended up going with the Cats lol. Montreal, Hamilton, Montreal, Hamilton... Usually doesn't work out when I switch, but, I'll take it.
