So we are well in truly into the thick of things now... So this is what I am understanding, please let me know if I am wrong.
Stampeders have claimed top spot in the West.
So that means we have 3 other teams gunning for the final 2 spots. They are BC, Winnipeg and the Eskimos. BC and Peg on 18 points, Esks on 16.
In the East is a different story, all 4 teams can still make the playoffs and that includes the horrible Als. Toronto actually holds 3rd spot in the East. WOW. Thats just amazing.
So this week then, all games have meaning.
Bombers @ Lions once again. Took the Bombers last week because of Jennings ball control and it resulted in 2 interceptions but the Bombers blew a massive lead and then finally recovered to win by 2.
Eskimos get a week off. They are looking mighty good right now. They face BC in Week #18. So BC have a dilemma, they now face 2 massive divisional rivals across the next 2 weeks. Massive games for all teams involved. The Bombers after this week are on a bye week next weekend. After the bye week they have 2 games left and both are against Ottawa so this is their last divisional game of the season. Eskimos after bye week play BC, Tiger Cats and then finish off against Argonauts. Interesting card. BC plays Eskimos in Week #18 followed by 2 games vs the Riders. This could get very interesting in the West.
So then the East this weekend, the Argonauts play the lowly Roughriders who have hit some form of late and then the Redblacks take on the Tiger Cats and Collaros has been confirmed OUT this weekend and Burris draws the start for Ottawa. Burris did well in the game vs Riders after coming on and I think he may current that momentum this weekend vs the Tiger Cats missing Collaros.
The other game is the Stamps laying -15.5 vs the Alouettes. Haven't seen a spread that big in a long time. Most likely a no play for me given the fact that the Stamps are a covering machine and cannot be stopped offensively and their defense stops everything pretty much.
So eyeing off the first game which is Redblacks @ Tiger Cats and the other which is Bombers @ Lions.
GL this weekend everyone

Nice post and thoughts. I like Ottawa +3 with Burris also, Redblacks lost a few close games this season and with the points I'll take a chance. Good luck with your plays
7-Unit Play. Take #280 Hamilton -3 over Ottawa (Friday, October 14 at 7:00 PM ET)
Take Hamilton ATS as my 7-Unit CFL Smash for Friday night. This pick
falls into one of my top CFL systems and I have Hamilton winning big at
home Friday night. The RedBlacks are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games
overall and 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games after a loss. The Ti-Cats have
been covering machines on Friday night going 14-6 ATS and they have
bounced back in both games after losing 2 in a row this season. Hamilton
has outscored their opponent 31-7 and 53-7 after losing 2 games in a
row this season which shows they bounce back nicely. Hamilton has also
had the extra time to prepare for this game and they will be ready
Friday night. Play Hamilton ATS with confidence as I have them winning
by 10 to 17 points.

I lean that way as well Eastcoast. No Collaros for the Cats is a massive loss and this is a huge divisional game. I think we might see the Burris of last year tonight

Ottawa Redblacks @ Hamilton Tiger Cats: Redblacks +3
For me personally, Collaros and the Cats other 8 personnel changes from that loss to the Stampeders 2 weeks ago is too many changes for me to take the Cats. Burris draws the start for the Redblacks whilst Mazoli starts for the Cats. Mazoli threw for 9 TD's and 8 interceptions in his 6 games this season when he started at went 3-3 S/U. Massive divisional games vs the Redblacks, they play again next weekend as well. Think Ottawa draws first blood

Ottawa get the jobe done.. I like the Bombers next game as road dogs do well before a bye week but won't be greedy and will take the win from the Redblacks..
