Season winding down, and typically the results will lesson towards the end of the season. Will try this week and if I hit less than 50%, this will be it for 2016. Usually I've done poorly in the playoffs, though now in the NFL I have some regression models that historically do very well. I'll look at the same things for the CFL, but what works in one league doesn't necessarily work in another.
1) Ottawa +3
Both teams have been terrible and both have underachieved...their defenses have allowed close to 30 points/game the last six and their offenses haven't been good enough to make up for it. Points grabbin'.
2) Ottawa/Hamilton UNDER 52-
Both teams hire an electrician for the defensive player's strategy rooms and the lightbulb finally turns on. "AHA!....now we know what to do!!
8-7 final score.
3) BC/Peg OVER 56
Scoring fest, 38-35 final.
4) Sasquatches/Argos UNDER 51
Contest between Argos and Als to see who the most underwhelming team in the CFL has been this year. Argos "D" has been a sieve, maybe they'll fix things or maybe Saskatchewan wins 50-0.
5) Roughriders pik
Do they tank in the CFL? Argos are really, really bad or they are deliberately losing, and one really can't tell the difference.
6) Als/Stamps UNDER 52
Stamps take their feet off the gas, after having tremendous regular season. Als can't score at the best of times. Do they really think that Cato is the answer? He looks like a dud to me,......trade him and Carter off to the new Brazillian league for a box of bananas.
