Decided to sit back and watch the first week and see how teams adjusted during the off-season and how certain players looks in their new jerseys. Once again, the Stamps dominate and their offense clicked. Defense was awesome as well. Other hand, the Alouettes will be lucky to win 4-5 games this season and IMHO are just an unbackable team all season until they start showing some form of skill and cohesion.
First play of the new season
Saskatchewan Roughriders @ Ottawa Redblacks: Over 50.5
These 2 played each other 3 times last season, with Vegas totals being around this 51 number on all 3 occasions. We saw game scores of 35,65 & 51. Redblacks kicking off their season after a bye week, Riders did well defensively against another good defensive team. They only went for 308 yards in total last week the Riders so I expect a little better this week from them and at the same time I think Harris plays well and I do think the Redblacks play better this season with some of their new players. I think this game has enough offense, not enough defense to get over the total.

Thanks guys. Was a nice way to kick off the season.
We know have 3 games left for the weekend and 3 very interesting games. Most likely won't touch the Bombers @ Alouettes game purely because you have a rookie QB on the road and the Bombers D is pretty awful but then you have the Als who are led by Drew Willy who just cannot be trusted.
Cats travel to Edmonton. Seems funny that Reilly and the Esks are laying the same chalk as the Stamps last week. Still don't trust Masoli and although he closed last season out nicely, we cannot forget his poor form from 2016 once Collaros went down.
Finally, I have to say I have a big lean on the Stamps for some Grey Cup redemption. Feel as though Ray and the Argonauts are going to decline this season and the Stamps will always be powerful.
