With only 4 games each weekend, some games are just untouchable IMHO. Hence why I don't have many bets per season (usually around 30) and this season has been ugly already with the Alouettes doing what Alouettes do, Argo's absolutely torn a new one by the Stamps and the Riders just shocking vs Redblacks. Collaros has lost it, sorry to say but I loved this guy back in his day at the Cats before injury struck him down 2 seasons in a row. He is slow in the pocket, the O-line doesn't protect him and he pretty much can't hit much either. I think its a long season for the Riders even though they have some great players on that roster. The most important player on the field is below average right now and Bridge, although he is young an energetic I don't think he stands up against teams that can put the pressure on QB's.
Thursday night looks like a good game but can we really base the Redblacks season on 1 game so far? A massive 20+ win against a Collaros led team? Stamps are just dominating on both sides of the field and made the Argo's look like an Under 12's football team. The line will be around -9.
Bombers @ Cats. So far so good from both teams, Streveler is playing out of his head but once again, was he made to look good against one of the worst teams I have seen? Would love to see the Alouettes vs the Browns. That would go down as a classic match. Hamilton found their groove the other night vs the Esks but the Esks defense is pretty poor. Bombers have no defense and I still don't believe their defense had much to contend with against the Als the other night. Have to dissect this match-up a little more.
Lions @ Eskimos: Was high on the Lions at the start of the season and still am. I think they have a good season this year and Jennings can turn his horrible season around from last year. Lulay off the bench is also a great back up QB to have. Esks's Defense needs to wake up and wake up quickly. Great divisional game this one and will wait on the line/total before making a decision.
