I must have a death-wish betting on these losers YET AGAIN. I will risk pissing more money down the drain with the Lions again as this is a good spot (stop me if I've said that before).
Yes, it's a must win as I have the last few weeks but more importantly this is a team they can beat. BC has yet to play another doormat this year as all 5 games have come against the best teams in the league. Saskatchewan is garbage. For my money the Riders are the worst team in the league. Despite not giving up many points the last two weeks the defense is still awful. They caught a break two weeks ago when Calvillo got hurt and even though Calgary couldn't finish last week, the Riders still gave up almost 400 yards at home. Bad defenses on the road catching 3 or less in football are one of the more dangerous bets in sports. The Riders are also brutal on offense. Their two TD's last week came via a short field on a long kick return and a long TD pass that was badly underthrown and deflected off the defender into the receivers hands.
I think a lot of people think of Saskatchewan as a pretty good team that has fallen on hard times with all the personnel losses they've had this year. I'm not so sure. Even though they have made the Grey Cup the last two years they've finished just 10-8 each year. And how's this for average? During those two Grey Cup years Durant has had a combined 46-43 TD-INT ratio which is actually pretty bad. Is it really a surprise he's being exposed this year with Fantuz and Bagg?
Kornegay should be a big boost for the BC defense and their offense has shown life in their two home games this year scoring 31 and 32 points. Lions get it done this week, and may just blow these guys out.

Why is it that I feel like Bill Murray in Groundhog Day every time I open your CFL threads?
Good Luck this week ........The line opening and staying at -3 is starting to make me think I won't be seeing Punxsutawney Phil next week.

Lions are my favourite play of the week too...but I'm having just as brutal a start to the CFL season as you are so I'm 50/50 on whether I take the plunge again or just lay off
