What a brutal week last week. 0-4 ML and 1-3 ATS. The only thing I did right was teasers.
BC -4 @ WPG
BC is coming off an ugly 1 point loss to Calgary before going on their bye last week. Teams coming off their bye are 6-1 this year and BC has a bitter taste in their mouth from last game that they need to expel in this one. VA and co. should be able to exploit Winnipeg's defence although they've been playing much better over recent weeks. Keon Hatcher has also been cleared to play following his injury from last year. Let's add another weapon to VA's arsenal. He now Has McInnis, Hollins and Hatcher to throw to. Oh and now Wolitarsky is on the 6-game for the Bombers. That's Schoen, Lawler and now Wolitarsky out. Why aren't the Bombers picking up and reuniting with Rasheed Bailey?
The Bombers have played 1 more game than every other CFL team, yet they've scored the fewest points and the fewest number of total TDs. O'Shea really messed up last week, opting to go for it on 3rd and 1 instead of kicking an automatic FG to take the lead and force the Argos to move the ball into FG range themselves with under 1 min remaining. Ultimately losing the game in OT missing a FG making it easy for the Argos to end the game. It feels like this Bombers team can't get to the bye week any sooner with it coming next week. BC comes into this game with more fire coming off a game they should have won; Winnipeg is limping to get to their bye. The Bombers played on Saturday and the Lions have been off since July 21. Looks like Lucky Whitehead will be finally playing for the Bombers.
Lions win and cover.

MTL -4.5 @ HAM
Montreal was down 13 at half and made a change at QB to their 3rd stringer who tore up the Riders and came storming back for a 4 point win. They'll be on more rest as they played on Thursday and Hamilton Sunday. Fajardo was taken off the 6 game injured list but it's uncertain he will play, I wouldn't risk him especially with a hamstring injury. Montreal still has their #1 defense and they will get pressure on Bo, shutdown Butler and force Bo into quick throws and some mistakes. UPDATE: Fajardo had a limited practice on Wed and is listed as available. But will he play? Will he come in 2nd half if needed?
Hamilton just came off of a blowout win against the Elks but let's not get ahead of ourselves, it was the Elks. They are going to be in tough at home on a short week against the juggernaut Als. If Davis Alexander can maintain his play or at the least manage the game then the Als will win and cover. Hamilton comes back down to earth after their blowout win against the worst team in the CFL in the last decade. Montreal wins and covers.
