CFL WPG @ HAM 2nd Half

Let the "MADNESS" begin.

Well I lost last night.  Record now 11-14  Gad' Zooks man.  Time to put my pants on and pick a winner.  lol.

I still have enough fix'ins to make Calzone for dinner tonight.  I got caught up watching the Jays game.  Thank the Lord the Jays are winning and offsetting my CFL 2nd half picks.

So ye old database shows HAM wins this game but does not cover the spread.  Hard to imagine.

As we all know trends, systems and what not seem to make no sense in this New CFL Super League and certainly nothing going back to 1996 BUT I did notice this.

When HAM is coming off a Division Sandwhich since 1996 they are 2-6-0 against the spread.  During week 7 HAM is 3-8-0 against the spread going back to 1996.  Hmm.

Well regardless I am going to cook a calzone about the size of a deflated football and try to improve my 2nd half record.

WOW all HAM right now.  Almost too easy.  Even with lots of time left in the first half I have to ask myself... What type of coach is Kent Austin?  Old school, new school, gentleman or rogue agent.  Will he continue to run up the score in the 2nd half or run the ball and start coaching not to win the game but not to lose the game.  Speaking from a 2nd half perspective only.

Now if MTL was playing HAM it would be full steam ahead.  Higgins and Austin would have no problem running up the score but vs Mike O'Shea I wonder what Austin will do?  How many points is enough.  Hmm.

If the half ended right now with a score of 0-21 what would the books do?

Take 21 points away from WPG... Nope.

Take 14 points away from WPG... Nope.

Take a half a half point away from WPG... Maybe.  Take outright points away from HAM... Maybe.  It has to be at least a FG maybe more.

Take a full TD away from WPG.   If they take any significant points away from WPG I will back HAM.

Even with that last TD when looking at the Live line it is 3.5 so that would make a 2nd half line of HAM -2 points.  Now the books are a crafty lot, lol and the Live line does not make a 2nd half line.  

Will the books get greedy or tricky.  lol.  3 mins to go.  Score 0-28

So, I think both QB's won't see much action her in the 2nd half.  I still believe HAM cruises to a win.  Will they win by 31 points... Perhaps not.  They can still win and cover but allow WPG to get some face points.  Why not.

this looks bad chef.  hopefully its only a hyperextension but that  could be ligaments   just what this league needs another good qb gone

Isn't it funny how teams in the CFL have a penchant for NOT scoring points in the 2nd half.  It happens all the time.  How is that possible?  

Might happen tonight with HAM.  Crazy.

i think after a half like that its tough to get the jets turned on again after halftime. to use your sexual reference   it s like when you have some great azz sex...after you drop that load u aint getting up to do anything for a little bit

Wait a second.  I lost that bet when I used sex as a handicapping tool.  It was a 1st inning bet.  I took no runs scored in the 1st inning.  I lost on a 5 pitch home run top of the first.

TD HAM

We still have that single point and the + .5 point the books offered.  1:20 to go.

Hall of Fame Game.  Hmm.  Watch or watch a movie.  Hmm.
