CFL WPG @ SSK 2nd Half

Let the "MADNESS" begin.

Well what a spectacular day for football.  CFL style!!  Bad coaching decisions, dropped passes, missed tackles, fumbles, missed field goals and PENEALTIES.  We can expect all of this in the first 15 mins.  lol.  lol.

Well for tonight I am cooking my Meat Lovers home made pizza.  Double pepperoni, onion, sausage, mushrooms and bacon.  Deep dish.  I will also save a slice for breakfast tomorrow morning.  Speaking of which I have an excellent menu laid out for tomorrow's double header.  Oh baby!  lol.

Well looking at this game, WPG actually has some stats going in their favor.  A team of horses couldn't drag me to the betting window to bet either team.  lol.  Smart Stats is showing 7 team system trends spread across both teams pointing towards the under 51 points in this afternoons game.  Typically 4 or more is a play but I am going to wait till the 2nd half as usual.  

The Jays are up 0-5 bottom of the 4th.  Outstanding!!!!!!!  I must admit I am getting used to my daily check courtesy of the Jays.  Keep it up boys.

So last game my book did not post a 2nd half line.  I ended up backing MTL + 6.5 at the half for the full game.  It lost.   Although it was not a True 2nd half line I will count it as a lose on my record.

Looks awfully windy in SSK today.  Hmm.  Just what we need, on top of everything else, now the weather has to have a say in this game.

Is it just me or does asst coach Bob Dyce now fill in head coach look like Samual L. Jackson.  Totally.

I think the smartest play so far was WPG winning the coin toss and deffering to the 2nd half with this wind.  lol.

Just food for thought.

When WPG lead after 1st qtr.  24-21-0 / 2-3-0 in 2015 / 5-4-0 in 2014

When SSK trail after 1st qtr.  22-40-1 / 0-7-0 in 2014 / 5-6-0 in 2014

Bit of a half field game with the wind.  SSK trying to establish a run game.

I give WPG the edge so far but it's early.

I swear, SSK is killing themselves.  Smith getting hit hard, penalties, snaps gone arye what else can they do to themselves.

And just like that the momentum has shifted towards SSK.  Could they possibly get their first win?  Hmm.

SSK is up by 3 and they have momentum but I think WPG has played better so far in my opinion.  If they keep blitzing Smith they should prevail.

WPG gets the wind in the 4th qtr so if they can hold SSK down for the 3rd qtr they stand a good chance of eking out this win.

Take away that special teams TD and what has SSK done?  Sure they are at home but that guarantees nothing even with a new coach.

1.  Roughing the kicker.  2.  contact on a receiver.  3.  personal foul after the catch, YIKES!  WPG gave SSK that TD.  Missed the 2 point conversion but still.

By SSK going for 2 points and missing that might just have saved my butt.  If WPG can score a TD.

Isn't SSK the most penalized team in the CFL!!!!!  Unbelievable performance by WPG.  These aren't typical penalties.  These are of the Big variety!!

Oh wells.  Still 9 mins to go but not looking good.

I should have seen it coming.  No complaining from me.  I take my loses like a man.  I have a wicked pizza coming my way and hey, the Jays won again today.  What a run.

2nd half record now 17-22

Back tomorrow.  Double header on tap.
