All the drama / fines aside, looking at the stats, Stamps are built in a way that exploits Sask's weaknesses. The Riders have the worst D in almost every category, more importantly though they are dead last in sacks and getting after the QB. Stamps currently are at full health for a few games now, and are ranked first in protecting the QB (least sacks) and have been doing an amazing job with blocking Messam in a power-run scheme. Using that beast to his full potential. To me this is a huge mismatch for me and will open up the Calgary offense to do what they please , and we will see much of the same with Bo Levi having time to throw. On defense Calgary ranks about average but more than capable of getting stops and getting after the QB. Where the huge advantage lies is their offense over Sasks defense, which makes it Calgary or nothing for me in this game. Sasks offense is simply not high powered enough to account for that horrid D. Ive heard that championship coach Chris Jones will get his team in order too many times. I truly believe by this time of the year we have a large enough sample size to have a good idea of how the offenses and defenses perform, and Sask has been horrible. Thanks for reading guys appreciate any input ! Ill be back for the later game.
Respect to Aussy, Indigo, Spottie, CFL Chef, and all the other real dudes in here that Im forgetting doing their thing this season and helping eachother win money and make sound picks. Love the discussion.
Oh and one more thing, how bout them Bombers last night :P Bahaha. Cheers mates.
