I have them at +5. I know it's a Sask spot and they're at Mosaic where it's a tough place to play but Montreal and Trevor Harris are gamers on the road. Harris relishes the road atomosphere and has had success in Sask in the past. Montreal has been road warriors even dating back to last season. Dan Clark and Shaq Evans being out has to hurt Sask. Maybe they shore up the 8 sacks they gave up (the short week hurt).....or maybe Dan Clark is that big a deal. Heck, Montreal's Center Jamieson is out too so I could get bitten by the same bug....but this kid Brown coming in has experience and has great mental preparation (from what I gathered... reading articles lol). He does have some starts under his belt so he isn't completely fresh meat and he has experienced guards flanking him. I haven't been impressed with Fajardo this season and their offense has been subpar. I was so lucky to cover at edmonton with sask. The Sask defense is gonna be tough, but I'm gonna trust Harris and Co. (they do get Jake Wieneke back)and that Allouette D to hold up vs a short handed sask offense with a QB I'm not high on.
Indigo had some good queries supporting a possible Montreal cover if you wanna check out his thread. And I also found a nugget that applies today from Ralph Michaels on twitter
How about an 81.5% CFL situation?? Teams that are a Dog off a Win as a Dog versus an opponent off a Loss as a Fav....like Montreal tonight 22-5 (81.5%) ATS & 14-13 SU w/ an avg line of +5.6
Who knows if this trend holds up tonight but i was already leaning that way so I'll take the support.
