Let me preface this by saying that I watched the entire game last night. Every snap. I was EXTREMELY impressed with the play of Pipkin. Rocket arm. Mobility in the pocket AND the ability to run and pick up yards. Athleticism jumped off the page. Receivers didnt do a damn thing to help him.Liked the leader ship...intangibles were there. I realize this is Manziels team. Hell, Im sure Montreal was the ESPN 2 game last night because of Manziel. So this kid is stuck. It was only 1 start. My point of this thread is that he deserves a shot. He certainly deserves a shot over Johnny "Football!"

I also failed to mention how ridiculous the Montreal Alouettes are. Mike Sherman is a disgrace. He should be fired immediately. This team has ABSOLUTELY no discipline. NONE. They are a 15 yard penalty waiting to happen on seemingly every drive. Losing is cyclical. It happens. But there is NO EXCUSE for losing a locker room. Changes need to be made.

14-25 against Edmonton&#x27;s D?  I prefer to wait a few games.  I think he is going to be tested against some better Defenses and is gonna make some mistakes.  14-25 (56%) for 217 yards ?   Maybe its the team or the coach (most likely both) but this is a passing league and still the Alouettes are going to need a lot of points to cash tickets.

I agree with you on all points....the quarterback could be very good on a CFL team and the Alouettes receivers are trash.&#xA;We&#x27;ll see what the shelf life of Johnny Manziel is....he never met a party he didn&#x27;t like.....he is a drug test or DUI away from being out of the league, which could be sooner rather than later.&#xA;I like him and wish him well, sometimes though people find a way to shoot themselves in the foot when opportunity arrives.&#xA;As I have said on my threads, the Als now have two quarterbacks that they could win with, the next steps will be to get rid of the players that are hurting the team through their stupidness....then get some receivers and a defensive coordinator.
