Ottawa to cover the spread whatever it is. Montreal needs a quarterback. Maybe winnipeg to beat Edmonton. Going to just watch the others.
HAM -3 points.
Ah, Tim Horton's Field. I sure hope HAM wins the coin toss! I dislike this field. Can you say wind tunnel. I am thru thinking about why they built the field the way they did. Almost all games played there become what I call half field games. The wind blows so strong in one direction it seriously affects how the game is played. Basically the team with the wind scores on every drive while the other team starts every drive on their own 10 yard line. All this team can do is run the ball twice then kick it into the wind and watch the ball get blown back to their own 40 yard line. Repeat all over again. Then the teams switch after the 1st qtr and now it is their turn to score on every drive and see how the other team likes it. Repeat in the 2nd half. It makes for whacky football. At first I thought it was interesting to watch but now I feel it detracts from the overall game play. A lot rides on the coin toss. Lets see what happens tonight.
TOR will not start R. Ray. They will also not be starting any of their starters. HAM on the other hand will be starting all of their starters. For how long? Probably 1st qtr at least. Mr. Football will start the 2nd qtr. TOR should not have a Grey Cup hangover as their players will be playing for jobs. Have they ever played in a wind tunnel like tonight, who knows. I give HAM the edge here playing at home and playing their starters. I believe the game is sold out.
I am cooking a N.Y. Strip loin steak tonight with potato surprise. Nice.
