-11? Is this a joke? It should be 20+ after beating them down twice and putting up over 100 points on their ass in 2 games. They've racked up 156 points in their past three starts, The Eskis have already canned a GM and two coaching positions have changed. They're on a short week, playing a team that has torched them for over 100 points in two games and theirr confidence level is in the toilet! Their coach told them a high scoll team could have beaten them after their last game. The Eskimos only rushed for a total of five yards in Mondays 52-5 loss. The Edmonton Eskimos are rushing in a replacement for the injured Arkee Whitlock. Brad Lester will start at running back in Friday’s rematch against the Calgary Stampeders after Whitlock injured his foot in last Monday’s Labour Day Classic. And was quoted “We’ve got a lot of guys hurt, so I met with coach (Tuesday) and I’m probably going to get a lot of snaps Friday and I’m really looking forward to it." and “I’ve only been here for about a week and a half, so the system’s still new to me." How the hell is he going to help? It's going to take this team 6 more games to find themselves. There were four new Eskimos on the practice field on Wednesday. At the same time, the club confirmed the release of offensive tackle Calvin Armstrong, wide receiver/returner Tremayne Kirkland and wide receiver Kevin Wuthrich.
In other words, this team is still not a team at all, it will take them some time to gel. Friday's game at home might improve, but there's no way thet could be enough time to cover, let alone beat the 8-1 Stampeders that are firing on all cylinders. Just because it's in Edmonton they stand a chance? Come on!!!!!! Unless this is fixed there should be no reason the Stampeders don't stampede right through Edmonton. and win by ATLEAST 20.
Someone tell me why The Calgary line isn't -20 or higher

I saw you in my post as well and I agree that this line ought to be 20...no...30+ points. I am new to covers but not to capping games especially SEC football. Anyway, I am going heavy as you saw on this game. Calgary is just a far superior team and it does not matter where they play.
Good luck!

Lets Hope We're right because I am going VERY Heavy on this one. I'm in vegas and play one BIG one eveytime I am here. I'm not laying the Points. I'm taking the ML. Straight up. I'm just looking for a reason why I should not. Edmonton seems to be on a down turn with no way of turning back and The Stampeders firing on all cylinders.

Don't you think the Stamps themselves are thinking all those things? They play @ Saskatchewan next week. The very last thing they are thinking about right now is the Eskimos.

So What do you mean by that? That The Stamps are looking through the Eslis and are going to lose?

I really want to play Calgary, because I truly feel they will win by at least 14 pts, if not 30. I am just so hesitant to play it because everyone is on calgary and the books will get killed. However, the same thing happend 2 weeks ago when BC beat MTL with calvillo out and everyone was on BC.
I watched the last game between these two as I had calgary, and EDM played like pure garbage, and I don`t know if its something they could fix up in just a few days. Ray was getting smacked on everyplay, as EDM O line could not hold Calg back, and I don`t see why that will change today.
This just looks to good to be true, so i don`t know. Havent put in a bet yet.. still thniking about it.. it just seems too easy!

I have studied this thing until I was sick. The only way I see Calgary NOT covering is if it's fixed. Calgary has EVERYthing going for them and The Eskis are a mess. They're not even a team. They're missing players they had on Monday, have injuriy issues, and are starting guys that have only been there a week and a half. On paper this is a disaster waiting to happen. This is just one of those games that you have to take while it's there otherwise you'll be kicking yourself in the ass for not taking it. The Bookies take this one on the chin today. They're hoping we do think it's too good to be true and don't play it.
