I have a ton of spare time, so I thought I'd get my take on each game down on paper.
Montreal @ Toronto +4
This fits into two of my general gambling rules;
-Line opened at +5, but has moved to +4 with 60% on montreal. Fading RLM is always better than following it.
-Whenever two teams play each other within a few weeks, the second game is always much closer.
Lean; toronto - likely lay off
Edmonton @ Winnipeg +1
rules;
- when a game is pk or 1 pt either way, always take the home team
Lean; Winnipeg - Under may be the smartest play
Sask @ BC -3
Line is moving accordingly. BC is "due", but how can you back an 0-5 team laying points?
Lean; NO PLAY
Hamilton @ Calgary -3.5
Opened at -4.5, down to 3.5, or 4 already with a slight majority on Calgary. Hamilton has had 3 pretty convincing wins in a row, and Calgary hasn't won by more than 4 points all season. In fact, their point differential this season; -2, +2, +1, -5, +4 really doesn't bode well for them to cover this spread.
Hamilton has been the MUCH better first half team, and them at plus money FH seems like decent value.
Leans; Ham FH and for the game (+4 is alot better than 3.5).
