Don't love this line (Als -8), but Als are the play here. While Evans has a future in this league, and has shown he can stretch the field and do a little with his legs, I don't anticipate that they'll be able to keep up with the Als top ranked offense. It's hard to attack the Als, can't put 8 in the box to stop Stanback because VA attacks deep more than any QB in the CFL, and Ottawa's secondary is as weak as they come, allowing opposing QB's to complete 75% of their passes for almost 10 yards per completion (9.2 to be exact). Red Blacks just don't have the horses, Als by double digits in this one.
Toronto @ Hamilton
There's certainly no shortage of film available for this one LOL While the Cats have traditionally owned this match up in the Hammer, I'm leaning to the Argos +5.5 points here. You can't underestimate how much Speedy B means to the Tabbies offense - at one time, he accounted for 30% of their offensive play calling. Masoli has looked really comfortable since his return, which I'm sure is a result of their inability to run the football effectively. The return of defensive guru Jones is going to continue to pay dividends and MBT is just as able as Arbuckle to run this Argos offense. It's a short week for the Argos, but I expect them to keep this close, and might even win this Thanksgiving Monday clash outright!
Best of luck on your plays!
