YTD: 5-5Going to stick with spreads from now on, totals keep getting me. Edmonton Eskimos @ Hamilton Tiger-Cats: Eskimos &#x2B;3Line opened at -1, now Eskimos are &#x2B;3? Will take the Eskimos and Reilly on the road against Masoli any day of the week. The Eskimos defense may look good after picking Masoli off for 2 times in this game. Winnipeg Blue Bombers @ Calgary Stampeders: Blue Bombers &#x2B;9.5Nicholls getting &#x2B;9.5? Yes I know its the Stampeders and i am never a fan of going against the best team in the league but Nicholls is a good quality QB and I think they can keep this within 7 points this weekend. Stampeders looked shocked in last week&#x27;s game vs the Riders and that little break didn&#x27;t do them any good. Have to take the points here as road dogs off a massive loss as a home fav the previous week tend to do very good the following week.Sasketchewan Roughriders @ BC Lions: Riders &#x2B;3If the Argonauts can beat this Lions team, the Riders can as well. Riders finally found the mojo they were looking for. The books loved them at the start of the season, by memory their win total was hovering around 10.5 wins. Well, they have just 4 wins after 10 weeks. The books know more than us. The Lions win total at the start of the year was just 6.5 and they have 3 wins. Expect this to be a close game but I also believe momentum is a big thing at times and the Riders big win last week I think helps them with that momentum and they carry it across to Vancouver this weekend.

Thanks Spottie. It was a nice win but what were the Eskimos doing in that game? They held a nice lead and then let it slide and Cats got the late win.

Moving onto Saturday's game. The line is now down to +8 for the Bombers. Still, I would take that down as low as +7 if I had to. Nicholls kind of took the whole booing this a little personal but apparently the home crowd last week weren't booing at him, they were booing towards the bench for allowing him to come back into the game after suffering an injury. Either way, Nicholls took it personally and the only way he wants to hit back at his home critics is with a big game vs the best team in the league who looked out of sync last week vs the Riders. Great game coming up.
