Montreal Alouettes -5.5 [+100] @ Winnipeg Blue Bombers 9/24 -$1000 to win $1000
In Calvillo's first game back from a sternum injury that caused him to miss 2-games, he hapharzardly lead the Al's to a 31-14 win. I think this is a good thing for Al backers tonight because Calvillo recognizes that although they got the win, he made a lot of mental mistakes. The team as a whole will be coming together to make a statement as this is the team that injured Calvillo to begin with... add in that Cahoon is closing in on 1000 receptions and this game looks to be like a classic Montreal blowout. Furthermore, Calvillo and the gang will really want to get it "clicking" for their next games which are some big ones.
Some people might say that Winnipeg will be clawing in this game as their post-season hopes are on the line when in actuality, they can lose this and still make it. The Blue Bombers will safely assume that the Stamps take care of the Lions which would drop BC to 3-9, the same record Winnipeg will have if they lose tonight. The two teams then face off in a home-and-home series which will basically determine who gets the last playoff spot. I'm sure BC and Winnipeg are both looking ahead to this very important matchup and likely "taking off" this week against much superior opponents.
Als are 8-2 ATS L10 and 4-1 L5 in Winnipeg.
Basically, Winnipeg's run game won't be able to keep up with Montreal's passing game as the Alouettes secure an easy victory with a clean game, while the Blue Bombers can't focus as they look ahead to next week. Some of the numbers show that the Bombers can keep this one close and even upset but I really think the players in the Montreal dressing room will want this more, and be more willing to execute and take it whereas the Blue Bombers will shoot themselves in the foot as they have done all season with stupid and silly mistakes.

I agree with this entire statement. My only concern is that Montreal is away.... I like Calgary, and Montreal as well as a little 7 point teaser for both teams.... hopefuly we get lucky
