Decided to stay away last weekend and glad I did because my leans were mostly losses. Sometimes discipline is key when we see games that we like but then just don't feel right. Thats why I like typing out my thoughts before making a play because as I type, it helps me with my final decision on my plays and if it doesn't feel right whilst I am typing, then I sometimes won't play it at all and just sit back and spectate.
Now we have 6 weeks remaining, Eskimos can still make the playoffs but they need to beat teams above them and it has to start with the Bombers as the Eskimos are about to start a crazy 4 game road trip starting in Winnipeg, then Montreal, BC and then finishing at Hamilton. Two of these next four games are against divisional teams in Bombers and Lions. If they can snag a win vs the Bombers, then they would feel confident in maybe knocking of the Als next week. BC and Hamilton very tough places to get wins. The reason why i like the Eskimo's in this spot is that they have a serious aerial threat. Thats their game plan. The Bombers defense is the 2nd worst in the league for passing yards allowing 320+ yards per game. The Eskimo's isn't much better but I think Reilly is a better passes of the ball than Nichols. In a must win situation I will take the Eskimos in this game. Home favs of -3.5 or less are 4-15 ATS when they allow 290+ passing yards and their opponents is average 280+ passing yards per game.
Edmonton Eskimos @ Winnipeg Blue Bombers: Eskimos +3.5

Damn sucks to see both u and Indi on Esks as I will be at the game obviously pulling for a Wpg W ! I believe it will be a great game, yes their offense might be better but we make up for it in defense. Our D has been much better than Edmonton , and our new star DB is starting tonight Heath. We also get CFLs leading tackler before he went down , Ian Wild and Justin Cole back. Our D is in top shape and 100% healthy , only person we are without is Harris but Flanders has shown up big in all his performances. Rielly can air it out , but we have some ball hawks. Hoping a few dont go his way. End of the day I see this game going either way so snagging the pts isnt really a bad idea. I just like our defense to show up at home ! And Nichols really doesnt turn the ball over or take dumb chances. His one pick was becuz he was down how many pts vs calgary. Im hoping the edmonton D gets exploited tonight like they have almost all season. Good luck brother !
