Week 16

Last week 0-3 ATS, STD 27-20 ATS.Some weeks/months/seasons are a struggle.  Everything fell right last year, and this season has been a headache.  I&#x27;m thankful that I&#x27;m up, and I&#x27;ll leave it at that.I&#x27;ll do my lines versus the bookie&#x27;s lines this week....my lines in brackets.Bombers -13  (-10)  Tiger CatsArgos        -1&#x27;  (pik)  SasquatchesLions        -4&#x27;   (-3)   RedblacksAls            &#x2B;7   (&#x2B;9)  EskimosWe have four crossover games this week,....the trend has been for the West Division teams to cover....the last two seasons during the regular season they&#x27;ve been 47-23 ATS, 13-3 ATS as underdogs.  That&#x27;s pretty HUGE.  Hindsight is 20/20...woulda been nice to have had a betting fairy tell me this would happening   a couple of years ago.And, as I am wont to do.....we&#x27;ll discuss quarterbacks  this week.We have a possible matchup between Jennings and Lindlay which would be an all-time stinker and could set a CFL record for terrible decisions and pick-6s in a game.  If Harris is back who I find to be a credible quarterback, I could consider the Redblacks, bucking the West-dominance short-term trend.The Sasquatches?  Kevin G. is nothing special on the road, but that is only thing missing from this team.  Their defense is a force, but quarterbacks win on the road.   Trent Richardson is a huge lumbering body who I&#x27;ll say would not equate to Jerome Messam, we&#x27;ll see.  Alouettes/Eskimos?  They are both sooooo discombobulated that to handicap this game we&#x27;d have to figure out who is the lesser evil....and if it is the Eskimos they are have to be very much better than the Als on the opposition&#x27;s territory.  The Als have sunk to new lows of......"lowness"?.... and I feel that they will have to replace at least Durrant and their offensive staff for next season.When a home dog in non-division games when both teams have lost at least 2 games in a row, the home dog has been 4-0 ATS.  When a non-divisional home dog has lost at least 4 games in a row they&#x27;ve  been 7-1 ATS, 6-2 SU and 1-7 UNDER.Indicators are for the Als.....who&#x27;s got the gonads to take them?Ran a query on away dogs after week 10 going back about 10 years.  The best performing teams? Bad weeks for the both of us last week Indigo but lets dive into our super computers and use that database that we both spent hours and hours learning to find teams in certain situations..

The Bombers laying -13.5 at first I thought was a bit high but then I thought Nicholls and the Bombers don't turn the ball over at all so the Cats might not get many chances to score in this game if the Bombers use the clock right. Their home form has been pretty good of late as well and the Lions were laying -12 to the Cats and Redblacks -11 to them as well but I rate Nicholls and the Bombers a lot higher than those 2 teams. Bombers also clinch a playoff spot if they win this game and a few other results go their way.

Eskimos laying -7.5 on the road I don't understand either. Yes the Alouettes are bad and who knows who is going to start that game but still, laying more than a TD on the road for a team who has lost 6 straight games is pretty alarming.

Argo's in good form but got lucky last week, Glenn sucks on the road like you said. I was hoping for Bridge to come out 2H and help steer the Riders to a big win but that didn't happen. They got lucky as well and playing their 2nd game on the road, it would be hard to take the Riders in this game but they do have the Stamps coming up shortly so every game is a must win for them.

Is Harris playing this weekend? If he is, then would lean the Redblacks for sure. Lindley was a lot better in his 2nd start of the season but he is a QB that I cannot trust at all. if Harris plays, then loving the Redblacks to knock off the Lions as BC are just falling apart and Jennings cannot be trusted with the ball in his hand.

I like the Riders too, with Trent Richardson starting. I am concerned he has only just over a week to practice, hasn't been 'hit' as practice's are no contact in quite some time and learning a new game. Can he still block?

Jones is no Saban ...hopefully it is a new start for Richardson. This is his last shot at pro-ball I would think.

West division teams playing on the road versus an East team that has won at least 3 games in a row have been 9-3 ATS, 5-7 straight up in the regular season.They&#x27;ve been 9-2 ATS as a pik or dog and 2-9 UNDER the total.  In weeks &gt;8, the West team has been 5-1 ATS, 3-3 straight up and 0-6 UNDER.Sasquatches.

Montreal loses again, let&#x27;s face it, they ARE losers.  How can you rush for over 200 yards, have a 15-0 lead and lose?  And lose against the pointspread?Drew Willy?  I don&#x27;t think so....threw for 6.7 yards/pass.  The Sasquatches have their quarterback, and they&#x27;ve decided to keep him on the bench.....what a shame.....Kevin Glenn is past it and the guy that can see the field, throw it down the field will be holding a clipboard next week. Just because a guy was good in the past, doesn&#x27;t mean he&#x27;s the more effective quarterback.  Perhaps next year, Brandon Bridge will be the man.   He&#x27;s already better than Jeremiah Jennings, Drew Willy, Rickey Ray.
