week 2

Hamilton has good recent history at Winnipeg. I like the running game for Winnipeg however drew will have to make plays on good secondary for them to win. I was leaning Hamilton for the first half as I feel they come in with the edge and focus on making willy make plays with his arm. they hold the edge o special teams as well.

when I mentioned they were going to make willy win this game I didn't think they would knock him out the game. Hamilton was a hungry team. Winnipeg came into this game riding a high horse and not with enough motivation. this might have been Hamilton's second road game however they are still looking for their first WIN.

looking into this game I think the best bet would be Montreal first half. Calgary made a comeback in the second half last week at home vs. Hamilton but were trailing at half. they are making adjustments themselves. Montreal knows if they have a chance to win this game they will need to jump out on these guys from the gates not from behind. Montreal is 6-1 straight up and ATS as home dogs. that includes a 3-1 mark last year. the QB situation for Montreal is the main reason why I favor first half. if they go with bridge I cant say much about him and I don't know who can at this moment as he is a north of the border product. however if Cato gets in this game I know plenty about this kid as he is from my backyard (s.fla) and I have seen this kid for over 7 years produce numbers. the defense for Montreal is still to be respected. last year Calgary went to Montreal as a touchdown favorite and lost 31-15. I know that was a different situation. I get that. so does the defense that knows to keep their offense in this game they will need to step up and they have shown in the past to be capable. Now in the half Calgary can make adjustments to the Qb situation and the game plan montreal will throw at them and god knows it could get ugly. I don't see an ugly game heading into half like we saw last night here. not with a team that understands the situation its in. Calgary at the end of the day pulled it out of their behind and now has to come on the road and play a team that has a good home record and understands it cannot slip from the gate.

 couldn't do much work looking into this game however my guts telling me Ottawa first half. BC is coming into this game with a new QB and new HC and didn't look hot in the preseason. I feel Ottawa is experienced enough and has enough weapons to play against a team figuring itself out on the road. Ottawa at the end of the day is being dogs again, its not like their being favored. they should have motivation for that fact alone. again BOL and happy 4th. Enjoy the fireworks
