He has arrived in Montreal. WOW. Shows you how desperate they are and we are only 6 weeks into the season. He is given basically 4 days with the team before they face the Eskimos who have the hottest offense in the league averaging close to 420 yards per game. Will he start of come off the bench when the Als are down 20-0 with a half of football to go? The guy is a nutcase and I am not sure the Alouettes organisation can keep his mind on the job. Who knows but that game is very risky to play now because he could come out and play really well or he could be a dud as he has only been given a short turn around time.. Only time will tell.
Friday Night football gives us a re-match of last weekend, with the Argo's traveling to Winnipeg. Another East vs West match-up which the East are just 7-22 S/U on the road since last year against Western Division teams. Horrible to think how good the West is compared to the East. Really think the league needs to look into that because its not just this season, its been happening for a few seasons now. This line will be close to +8 I believe as the closing line last weekend was around -3 for Winnipeg in Toronto. The Argo's need to find their defense, they are the leagues worst on yardage, giving up 420 yards per game and you don't want to do that again vs Nichols and the Bombers.
Saturday is the day I am looking forward too, Stampeders @ Riders and Redblacks @ Tiger Cats.
Stamps are just rolling like they do every season, 5-0 right now and allowing less than 10 points per game. Thats just insane. They are shutting down every team and allowing just 177 passing yards per game. Haven't seen that for a long time. The Riders will find it very hard IMHO, last week they cruised to victory against Masoli and the Cats but I don't believe that was anything special because the Cats were put up on a high perch by Vegas but in the end of the day, its still Masoli running the show. Riders will have to be at their absolute best to keep this game close.
Ottawa got lucky against the Lions but they got the W. Tiger-Cats embarrassed and lost as double digit fav's. Can they bounce back? They might but Harris looks good and the Redblacks look healthy. This time last season, the Cats were laying -11.5 to the Redblacks in Hamiton, the final score was 26-22 Tiger-Cats won. Will be interesting to see where this line is at, im guessing -5.5. Great match-up and waiting on lines to come out before making any plays.
BOL everyone this weekend

I'm from Montreal and they are saying that Johnny Manziel will most likely start against the Hamilton Tiger Cats, August 3. You can't make this stuff up.

The indication will be who takes more of the reps this week in practice. Vernon Adams Jr. was not terrible. He made some plays with his feet and got a couple of pass interference calls by chucking the ball deep. If Vernon starts, it will depend how well he is doing in the 1H. Expect Manziel to start the second half if V. Adams Jr. struggles.
