In the past I have exited the CFL by now, but this year is different. Hope that my time is well spent.
Week 9 action:
Coming into the year Ottawa finished off 2015 on quite an ATS roll. That continued for their first 4 games going to 3-1 ATS to open the year. Since then the points spreads have changed quite a bit. Last meeting in Montreal the line was a pickem!
Ottawa is laying 9 this week and although its not discounted anymore, I still like them this week. Henry Burris isn't playing like last years MOP, but he did get injured in week 1. Maybe thats his problem, but I don't think he is as bad as he opponent Glenn. Ottawa has the better WR group and I think this week Montreal will have problems keeping up.
This year in road games Montreal's offensive output 12, 17, 22.
I am not a fan of laying this many points, especially in the CFL,. but I have no problem laying to the Montreal Al's
Small unit play -9 in Ottawa.
The late game is very even and provides more value to watch with cold beer and popcorn. If I had to pick I would be on Calgary. They have been the best cover team for a few years now and are a great overall team.
BC has been up and down the last few years, but so far this year have been the most consistent squad.
I wasn't a big Jenning fan to start the year, but that is why I am not related to Wally Buono.
Anyways is just watch and enjoy the preview of the west final.
Edmonton,
Favored again ! Unreal! Yes as bad as back up Kilgore was last week they should be !
The Argo's are a horrible home favorite, but I like the +3.5 and it has been climbing.
Sask +10
Last year Hamilton was on fire covering so many games. At one point they were 14-2 ATS. That run started in 2014 and ended in week 12 2015. Since then 6-10 ATS and for the most part I have been fading them.
I know most of this was with Collaros injured and now he is back. And yes I like the WR core the Ti-Cats roster, but historically this team has been real bad as a favorite and this week DD Favorite at home.
Also not to be ignored is they are only 3-4 on the year. There is no question Colleros brings something more than Masoli, but a 3-4 team laying 10 is just too much
2 weeks ago Calgary was at home and layed 10 to sask, and in the 1st half it was a tight game.
I know sask has made the news, not in a good way, but when you play Calgary back to back and you are under maned so badly, its gonna wear on you that you can't win.
I like the 10 here with sask.
recap :
Ottawa -9 small
Argo's +3.5 and climbing. regular
Sask +10 Regular
Good luck gents and enjoy!!!!
See you at the window
