was not impressed with either Week 1 performance from Winnipeg or Hamilton
But WIN showed the ability to grind it out and compete which I why I sided towards them +8.5 in the opinions
Of course they benefited from an atrocious performance from Kevin Glenn and the Hamilton offense
Without T. Edwards Winnipeg is lacking any downfield passing threats...at all
Jones is a solid return man and WPG will have to use field position and good team defense to win this year because they are not ready to win any shootouts
But this probably did show how they had 4 wins and an astounding if you think about it 9 losses by 4 points or less last year
They do pressure the QB effectively and made some plays of defense gotta give them credit
I still think they will win 7-8 games this year
HAM has some issues to fix in practice but Kevin Glenn is their guy and I still think they will come out stronger next week on the road
****#53 Simmons LT for Hamilton nominated for the dumbest football player ever first he sits on the sidelines as his team is set to run a play, then he forgets to block and gets Pierce concussed (hard to believe that wasnt a concussion)
That will be a problem folks
