1 Florida vs 9 Pittsburgh

Question

I originally had Florida winning the national title in my bracket but I have a feeling I'm about to get "bracket busted". I think Pittsburgh is going to upset Florida tomorrow. I'm a big SEC fan going to Tennessee and Mississippi State(I think the Vols are going to the elite eight), so I'm rooting for the SEC. Florida is on a 26 game winning streak but 21 of those wins are versus the SEC. Let's face it, the SEC is not a great basketball conference this year. I think Florida is a great team but this is a bad matchup for the Gators IMO. If the Panthers were in the SEC they would be the second best team in the league. I think Pitt will control the game from the start and lead the most of the way in a very slow paced, low scoring Big East style of game and Florida will have to make a run at the end of the game to win. If the Gators do come back and win I think they'll win by one point and that doesn't cover the spread.

I agree... Florida has not been looking good past couple of games. Tennessee gave away the SEC title game to them... Pitt looked great against UNC and Colorado. My first inclination was Florida but it was never a solid feeling. I&#39;ve learned over the years that that usually means I will lose. Won&#39;t think too much about it and go with Pitt... I can see myself thinking my way out of a Pitt lean... Not gonna happen

Hey guys, one thing to note, watching the UNC Pitt game a week ago, did you see when north carolina made their push back into the game, did you see how poorly Pitt was versus the Press? that was UNC full court press, Now imagine playing vs Florida full court press, a whole different animal, IMO this line is giving pitt way too much respect for their recent run, ACC & old Big East is usually the cream of the Crop but not this year these teams are not as good as they usually are..

I think Florida will cause alot of turnovers in this game leading to easy buckets and a huge 1st half lead letting the gators coast to the sweet 16, to face a much tougher match up wise opponent in UCLA and their size, if your looking for the florida slip up wait for UCLA

RLM huge Pitt fan here... In all honesty think they lose this game by double digits. They have limited scorers, one of the worst rebounding Pitt teams I have seen in decades, and a coach who never wins the big game. Ppl here in
Pittsburgh are talking this team up like the are some Cinderella story for some reason just cause they beat a crap Colorado team whose best player was injured. Pitt will have limited second chance points today due to their poor rebounding, and Florida will pound the ball down load to Young & eat them alive. Good luck but I wouldn't back Pitt in this type of game if you handed me free money to bet them.
