1 max play for me today with write-up....

Well guys it was a tough night yesterday as Akron didn't bother to show up vs Miami Ohio. 0-1 day -$660  28-23 on the season +$1,870. Today I have a max play i'll post it 1st and then the write-up. My play today is:

Wow, that's a lot of money to lay on the line in what should be a very close game.  Line looks good for Xavier though.  All about how well Villanova shows up and if they want to win the game. 

Huge battle between 2 teams fighting to be #1 in the Big east and possibly get a #1 seed on Selection Sunday. Both Nova and Xavier are 24-3. Nova is 13-1 in the Big East 13-12-1 ATS winners of their last 7 off a 10 pt win vs Butler. Xavier is 12-3 in the Big East 17-10 ATS winners of their last 3 SU and ATS off an 88-70 win over Georgetown

The 1st meeting between the 2 came on New Years Eve and Xavier got destroyed. That was the game that the Xavier player got carried out on a stretcher and after that Xavier just wasn't there mentally and who would be after seeing that happen?

As most know I like to fade whoever is the #1 team in the country and I did so last week vs Temple and that didn't go well for me.

When you dig into the numbers Nova a top 10 defensive team. #1 in college hoops in foul shooting. Xavier is a much better rebounding team with a rebound margin of +10.8. The Musketeers have 6 guys who average at least 9.5 PPG

I was not aware that this is the 1st time Xavier has hosted a #1 team in the Cintas Center since it opened. Hell this is the 1st time they've played a #1 team in the regular season since January 4th,2003{If you're on Jeopardy that team was Alabama. Yes Alabama was #1 in basketball at 1 point... I'm serious} Xavier has the 4th best winning percentage at home in college hoops behind Gonzaga,Kentucky and Wisconsin

Nova has won the last 6 meetings 5 of the 6 by DD including the last 4 by DD. LY at Xavier the Musketeers led 40-33 at the half only to be outscored 45-26 in the 2H. These are 2 great basketball teams that nobody wants to face in a couple weeks. Its now or never for Xavier to beat Villanova. It is time. And I like Xavier to win by 1-2 buckets/2-6 points
