Well guys picked up the max play win last night as Miami of Ohio had a 20-3 edge in bench points and won by DD. 1-0 day +$1,000 2-1 in conference tourneys +$500 37-30-2 on the season -$130. Not a lot of time guys so lets get to it. My play today is:
Boston College -4 for $1,100
2 teams coming into today's ACC tourney game with 2 different styles and in 2 different directions. Georgia Tech went 13-18 but has won the last 2 games the last over Wake Forest 64-56. Josh Okogie had 22 points and made 6 free throws in the last 17 seconds. Tech had 14 assists on their 21 made buckets and a 30-14 edge points in the paint
BC comes in 17-14 {1-4 in their last 5} off an 85-76 loss at Florida State where they were outscored 51-40 in the 2H 18-4 in the last 6 minutes and 7-0 to end the game. Ky Bowman had 22 points 6 rebounds and 5 assists and comes into today's game 19 points from 1K in his career. Jordan Chatman had 20 points. Jerome Robinson had 16 points and a career high 11 rebounds. 2 stats really went against BC. One was BC had 9 offensive rebounds which led to ZERO 2nd chance points. The other was FSU having a 52-10 edge in bench points
These 2 met Super Bowl Sunday with BC winning in OT 80-72 outscoring Tech 11-3 in OT. Chatman and Robinson had 19 apiece, Ky Bowman had 17 points and 8 rebounds in 45 minutes{Bowman only player in the sport with a line of 16.9 PPG 6.7 rebounds and 4.8 assists. the rebs most by a player 6'1 or shorter} BC was 11-23 from three in that only meeting and had a 13-6 edge on the offensive glass
Jerome Robinson is the ACC's scoring leader and has averaged 24 PPG vs ACC competition. BC's 3 headed monster of Chatman,Robinson and Bowman are one of 3 in the sport to have at least 70 made 3's by each guy{Other 2 teams Marquette and Mt.St Mary's}
BC has won 17 games,their most since 2010-11 and double from their 9 win mark LY. They have moved up 120 spots in the RPI and speaking of that this is a big week for BC as they have a shot at the NIT. The only way they can make the NCAA's is to win the ACC tourney{Best NC RPI win was against Richmond}
Look BC didn't dream of the NIT but in this journey of a million miles rebuild for Jim Christian it would be HUGE to get to play in postseason and when you look at their area of the bracket it sets up as the winner gets NC State. You say 'packers BC lost in Raleigh" Yeah because in the 1H NC State made 13 shots in a row and 17 of 18. Nobody could've beaten NC State that day. This is a BC team that lost by a point at VA and Miami by 4 to Clemson in OT to Va.Tech. They've been right there all year
GT ran a lot of zone the 1st time against BC and the Eagles have seen the zone recently from Cuse and despite the GT defensive success after you face a real athletic team like FSU you aren't as concerned with Tech. And when you play zone like Tech does how do you beat it? With the 3 point shot. BC shoots 37% from three and GT allows 38.5% from deep. If you want to pack it in and let BC shoot 27 threes and make 12 they have no problem doing that
GT is 13-4 this year when they have a better FG% and 0-13 when its worse. I think it'll be a worse and i like BC to win by a nice margin and make a run in this ACC tournament
BOL guys

This game stays with-in 3 points. BC will try to uptempo there offense and just turn it over again and again against the GT zone defense. BC will most likely be fouling late in the game to close the gap to 2-4 and either win by a bucket or lose.
Defense wins games. Gtech +4
