Haven't posted picks in a while, quietly have been doing pretty well this month on NCAAB.
CMU (3-3) record is extremely misleading, most games have been against Non-D1 teams, and they lost to one of them by 19 points (Flagler on 02-12). They also may be over confident after a 52 point win last outing against another no name team...St-Francis IL.
WMU (1-4) have played a much tougher sched and have losses to Butler, MI State #4, Detroit and Milwaukee, so the level of competition has been much, much better, and they held their own in all of these matchups albeit the L.
This is a great spot for WMU to come up with a solid home win before conference play begins against an in-state rival. I have them winning by 5+ but will play the alt -2 spread @ +105
SDSU (5-0) vs BYU (5-2) is the most intriguing game this afternoon. BYU looks good on paper, but SDSU is superior in every category here...I think this is a 10+ win. I'll expand more about this game in a bit.

BYU may be looking at this game as a must-win for an at large tourney bid in March, unfortunately they are playing a very tough, experienced and versatile opponent in SDSU.
I think BYU will hang around for a bit, but as this game rolls on SDSU's length and defence will overwhelm them. The talent disparity here is huge despite BYU being 6-2.
BYU is coming in confident after a nice win over Utah at home, but SDSU is not Utah. Their two losses (USC and Boise St.) play a similar style to SDSU and have the perimeter length that BYU struggled with, the only difference is SDSU is MUCH better.
The points are juicy and tempting here, but Vegas set this line for a reason. BYU will go through some growing pains as they rebuild and find a new identity, and experienced SDSU is going to expose their weak spots. It's a great game for BYU regardless as they will fine tune their game before Gonzaga and the tourney.
SDSU -6, -8 , doesn't matter. I'm thinking 10+ win for the Aztecs.
