Had a great opening post night yesterday, and really am looking forward to tomorrow's slate. This is the time to make money in conference play in college baskets.
Little to no value in tonight's games, but I have identified one play tonight in college hoops...
Wisky Green Bay-5.5 (4 units) --- The Phoenix are a robust 9-0 at home this season and completely healthy. Their average margin of victory at home is frickin 19 points! They get after it on their home floor! Valpo is a good team, but they come in to this with their leading assist and steal guy doubtful. That's not good when you play a great team on the road. It's a two pony race in the Horizon, and this is a game Green Bay must win. Look for Valpo to keep it close early, but Green Bay to pull away in the 2nd half for a double digit win.
Bonus NBA pick - Hawks/Thunder > 207.5 (2 units) ---- Look for a shootout here, the Hawks want to keep their winning streak alive, and OKC will not go away easily, and won't play defense. Final in the 220's

Nice run for your opening post night. I'm not taking anything tonight but wanted to point out something that could give you a different perspective on the stats you pulled. Green Bay is 9-0 at home by an average margin of 19 points. First, you need to take the 2 games against non Division 1 opponents away. So from the remaining 7 teams they played at home, those teams have a combined record of 52-89 with an average RPI of 235.
Green Bay is ranked 80 and Valp 86 so this would be Green Bay's toughest challenge at home by far. Like you said, there is little to no value in tonight's game and that includes this one.
Best of luck regardless and I'll be rooting for Green Bay since I have no money on this game!

Good call Alex. This guy has his mind made up which is why he just pumps up positive stats without looking. Plays when someone tries to tell us how the games will go lol.....I go opposite. Guess he has a great crystal ball

Alex - All good points. In every game, there are counterpoints, and believe me, I play devil's advocate against my picks all the time. Based on everything, I really like Green Bay.
Delino - Good luck!

0-2 tonight (-6 units ouch) 5-3 overall (+5 units)
Man, that Green Bay game was frustrating to watch...Green Bay's leading scorer was something like 3-15 from the field, and when that happens and they still win, what are you gonna do?
OKC just plain sucked, when they show up to play, they can beat anybody and score a garbage-ton to boot. But every now and again, you get this dud.
Anyways, much better selection tomorrow, and I expect to CASH big.

that GB/Val game should have been a no play way to easy for either team to take it either way.
As far as the OK game there is clearly a reason Atl has completely turned their year around and have won their last 15 games in a row. They went back to the basics and started playing the fundamentals. Solid D wins games whether it be basketball or football. That game didn't go over because OK knew that they had to play solid D right along with Atl. That is not their game so it was going to be a difficult game to win.
Of all the games to try to handicap last night he tried to do the hardest.
Next time how about trying something a little easier like the NO game against a poor playing Minn team. How about Boston going against a struggling Denver. Or if you like over/unders how about the Phx/Hou game to go over. Much easier to logically look at the outcomes.
Make it a great day
