Perhaps VCU did not deserve to be selected as one of the top 68 teams. But I think what people like Bilas and some others fail to recognize is the selection process rewards teams from big conferences more for their schedule. Teams like VCU and even Butler to a degree don't get the opportunities to face the big name schools because in many cases they can't get them on their schedule. So if the tournament committee picks VCU over a Colorado or Virginia Tech, who might have finished sixth or seventh or eighth in their conference, I call that justice for the little to middle guys. I'm tired of hearing VCU shouldn't have got in. Hell, give them all a chance at a national title! Not just the big boys who make all the money.
