Not sure how Undereood is in a revenge spot. Does Illinois have a let down after hanging on against Michigan this past weekend?

*Welp.. I already took a bite of this possibly "poisoned" pastry last night with Illi -4.5(-110). Seems fine to me until we see the result tonight.  Just remember, square/public plays pay off too (Zaga covering comfortably double digit spreads for the past 5 weeks). Remember Rutgers -3 against a visiting Purdue this week? Baylor-4 last night? Majority of the money (80%+ according to vegasinsider.com) was on the Rutgers -3 spread and they "easily" covered..

yeah, I agree.  How is the spread more in the iowa vs Maryland game than it is in the Illinois vs Minn game.  Seems like they got those two Big Ten games backwards to me.  

Look for a huge effort by the Minnesota Gophers tonight in Champaign. Coach Rick Pitino is 7-2 ats after losing by double digits SU the last 2 seasons. The Gophers are also 2-0 ats this year  in this situation. Here are those games.

Illinois is not a good offensive team. To he specific.. they can't shoot the ball well from range and are streaky even with their mid range game. They have won  against teams that they match up with extremely well. Teams that have no presence inside and aren't talented offensively. Minnesota shoot the ball well but take bad shots and make bad decisions. They are downright sloppy at times. If you recall, Illinois played Rutgers with a 5 point spread and didn't cover.. why.. because they matched up well. The line is right. Illinois does not have the offense to get -6 1/2 or 7 more points unless it's against a team like Wisconsin or Purdue or Michigan. Does this mean they won't cover.. no... But just giving some perspective on the line. If Minnesota cuts down on the mistakes then it will be a close game that Illinois has to cover at the end. One thing for certain.. Illinois will get torched by Iowa in Iowa .

Because Maryland has a better offense than illinois. They get up more shots and push the pace faster. So they have the standard -5 1/2 home spread. Don't forget.. these lines are Kenpom.. it's not a vegas line unless you see juice added on to the Kenpom
