If anyone is coming to Minneapolis for the final 4?  

 

If so tell me what you are looking for and maybe I can point you in the right direction.

 

I have friends coming into town and we are going to the game or I would host

Sorry, mah man...

I can't stand stomaching going to that state similar to how I avoid California, New York, New Jersey and many other locales...if I was to spend a dollar there...it would just tear me up...

So glad they invented television...and the internet...

I was thinking of going b/c they say It’s the most romantic city in the US for newlyweds and I wouldn’t mind doing the Prince tour and some ice fishing.

Was there only once on a layover at the airport on a connecting NWA flight to Billings Montana. Do you guys really have over 10,000 lakes? I heard that and I find that absolutely amazing.

Still can’t get over that the Mississippi River actually starts in Minneapolis. Does it come off a lake or is it a natural spring?

Prince Tour is awesome if you are a Prince fan.  I live not too far from Paisley Park.  

Actually thinking of building a new house on some of Prince's land.  He was the largest land owner in Carver county.

There are over 10,000 lakes and the Mississippi doesnt start in Minneapolis.  Starts in northern Minnesota at Lake Itasca.

Yes.....Norway

If you have never seen the Northern Lights.....they are truly spectacular.

It doesn't start in Minneapolis...it starts in Lake Itasca

I may just call it a business trip and somehow ending up visiting Mo Pinkie so much outdoors to do up there. Prince was brilliant so much unpublished music he had in his collection that has yet to be released.

You'll have to go hours (5-6 hours) North of Minneapolis, you're talking Canadian border, no light pollution, and the right time of year...we're not far enough North to get them all the time, like many other locations.

I’m still amazed at how over 10,000 lakes fit into that state? Do all these lakes have names? What’s the most popular fishing up there and the best fishing spot for this time of year. Doesn’t have to be ice fishing.

No I dont know ay good spots but if you have some extra time I can point you to a spot where you could go snipe hunting.  It is absolutely gorgeous and only about 30 minutes from downtown

There's an old bar called the Moose Country right outside of St. Paul...you'll need a Bison License to get in the front door (not even sure it still exists)

Go to Prince' club across from the target center.

Norwegian Salmon is good up there.

Not saying the great majority of the "native born" people are not nice...it's saddening to me how the demographics have changed to where a certain political affiliation has taken over the state...with the help of a certain president over 8 years...he seeded the state with hundreds of thousands of ...shall we say...out of staters...who have no appreciation of your great state and no desire to assimilate...

Like California and the other states I mentioned...it appears to have been irrevocably changed...I make a conscious effort to not support the political powers that control these train wreck states with my dollars...

If you ever come to Texas...I will buy you a beer, Wendubs..and protect your life and property with my concealed carry sidearm...one of the benefits of living in a free state not dominated by individuals who display many of the characteristics of what used to be diagnosed as mental illness...

I was at a bar in Alaska.  

There were two fool from Texas bragging about how everything in Texas was bigger and better than the rest of the country.

Finally this Alaskan at the end of the bar was fed up with the two Texans and he turned to them and said.....

If you two fool don't quit bragging about how everything is bigger and better in Texas........

We are going to cut our state in half and you will be the third largest state.
