Over 143.5: Teams met on New Year's Day and combined for 142 points as Samford predictably smoked Citadel 86-56. I think Samford puts up 86 (or more) again but playing at home, I think Citadel has a much better shooting game. At Samford, they went 25 for 68 from the field and a miserable 13 for 25 from the stripe. With Samford's fast tempo (59th), Citadel will again get plenty of possessions and hopefully they can shoot at least marginally better. Also worth noting is snake-bitten Citadel has the 359th worst luck out of 364 teams. Hoping that evens out a bit too tomorrow. I do feel like this is a low number and going to make a season-high 2 unit play on it.
Another total I am liking is Portland-Pepperdine over 149.5 so may have a play on that and a few others for tomorrow.
