UCLA/LBSU OVER 147.
Have been waiting on this since seeing their first game against Idaho, and I’m happy it’s reasonably low. LBSU confirmed they’ll still play track meet style ball and a take-what-you-want defense in their opener. Can’t defend the 3 point line whatsoever and have poor discipline. Their % shooting (2s anyway) was high because they run the floor well and are mostly layups. We’ll see the same thing tonight against a better team athletically, who in their own right is one of the most explosive offenses in the country and shoots well from behind the arch. Having taken care of Nova and a pretty easy 3 game stretch coming up, I don’t think UCLA will take them very seriously and be willing to out-run and gun them and win easily without having to play the strictest defense. Books have it at about 87-60 with the spreads as they are. UCLA should easily hit 90 and LBSU should get enough shots up to make at least that 60 number. Last game there were 173 shots out up. Personally think they can cover so long as UCLA doesn’t hit the 100s and will probably sprinkle a little on them as well, but this over is the play of the day to me.
I don’t do first half bets much but this halftime score I expect to be high scoring as well.
