As usual I don't see the final game as being a hugely appealing betting opportunity but the pick I made is:
Purdue +7.5 (-120) for 2 units
UConn looks like the best team, covering every spread as favorites no matter how high the oddsmakers put the line. Usually I would take the team with the most blowout victories in a final.
However, I think it's very possible the gravy train stops tonight simply because it's a final game and we had two blowout wins with the favorites in the semi final.
They gotta keep you watching the ungodly amount of ads they squeeze into games with two 20 minute halfs.
Also, Purdue does a good job getting to the line 9th in the nation in FT attempts so that helps keep within striking distance. You can get the number posted at 888bet and some other places I'm sure.
Boilermakers after their historic ousting last year are certainly going to make a good effort and erasing that with cutting down the champ game nets but will fall just short.
