I'm crazy about the betting opportunities the tournament brings. I devised a formula years ago that my computer spits out showing what I believe the lines should be with my input. When I see games that are 2 or more points off, it piques my interest. That doesn't mean I will bet one way or another, it's just a notification. Sometimes a notification that Vegas knows a lot more than I do. Here's the games I looked at:
Ok St I thought they'd be favored by 11/2, they are + 1 1/2
WVU- I thought the Mountaneers would be favored by 6 1/2, they are + 4 1/2
Baylor- I had at -11, they are - 8 1/2
No. Iowa- I had at -8 1/2, they are at 6 1/2. That game could be in the 40's
L'ville at -11, they are at -9. The most overrated team in the country.
Virginia-21. They are at 16 1/2
Georgetown -10 1/2. The line is 7 1/2.
Gonzaga -201/2. The line is 18.
I would love feedback and comments on the tourney.
