Classic lookahead spot for the Devils.....and the Buffs have shown some nice improvement lately. It's worth giving a buck-fifty to the Boulder Boys.

Lookahead usually refers to the next game - which for ASU is the Utah team that slapped them in Tempe last month.

They're looking ahead to Utah? No he doesn't know what a lookahead means because there is no reason to look ahead a Colorado team that is hot and has just won back to back road games in challenging venues. If ASU doesn't care tonight, I attribute that more to the fact that it's a midweek game where teams have a harder time getting pumped up vs mediocre opponents. Don't mean to sound like a dick I just think this term gets overused. If I had to take someone I'd take Colorado, but the Pac 12 is completely random this year.

I was referring to the OP.........As if Straka didn't know what lookahead meant

Thank you Zags. Yes, I assume he knows English too.
However, in the context I wrote....it was fairly obvious. ASU was pounded by Utah at home last month and would like to return the favor on Saturday. On the other hand, ASU wiped the floor with Colorado last month. It's only human nature - especially in dealing with kids - that you're going to "look ahead" a little bit. That bit less of intensity can cause the difference in close games with fairly evenly matched teams - which these ones were.
That said, my reasoning turned out to be somewhat faulty as ASU put up a fight - and if not for some fine shooting by Colorado (and the always reliable bad coaching by Little Bobby Hurley), the pick may not have won.
BOL to you - always enjoy your picks over in the NBA.
