knew once mack n company left they would be pretty fucking bad its just makes it more sad they had 2 cracks at the ncaa title 2 years in a row that may not ever happen again in our lifetime from a mid major,success for them getting to the title game back 2 back i give them that but its all about winning it in the end.

just need a good recruiting class with some key jr college transfer and they'll be back as mid major power

I hear your Mark, Butler back to back title games run is once in a lifetime for that program, even the powerhouse programs like NC, Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, UConn rarely accomplish that feat

Them getting that far 2 years in a row may be the greatest 2 year run of any team ever, including the Gators a few years back. I'm talking a mid major as an 8 seed (dont remember 2 years ago)....pretty damn impressive. Of course that level of talent, and yes of course luck (could have easily lost to ODU in the 1st round last year) will be hard to come by again....

Weird year for Indiana. It has been Butler for basketball. Now it looks like Purdue and Indiana will be the leaders again. About time for the Hoosiers again though.
