New sport, new forum, new posting. Returning after a solid NCAAB last year though it was not so great the year before then. Otherwise this has been a really good sport for me, maybe not as solid as NFL or NBA, but good nonetheless.
For anyone who doesn't know, I post BIG PLAYS that are like 2 units and count the same way, both for wins and losses. I try to limit them but with so many games in CBB that is sometimes hard to do. But I will pick my spots and so you can easily calculate the total units I am + or - by doing the math on the record. Which there is none of yet.
Having said that, this is when it changes as I'm going to jump on to two games that I think have a good chance of cashing. They are also two of the more marquee matchups and I often find those easier to cap in the early stages.
TEXAS (-2): Neutral court, I am taking the better team, and not because of the ranking. Ohio State will pose some issue especially with the big inside bodies but Texas has the size and speed to offset it
BAYLOR (+6): Hard to go against Gonzaga with two Naismith Player of the Year candidates, but while the Bears might have lost 4 starters, they got quite a good crew of transfers in Norchad Omier from Miami (if I spelled his name correctly) and Jeremy Roach from Duke. I would have played the OVER but at 156 that's a bit rich for my blood out of the gates in a touch matchup. I see up tempo though and in the end, a very close game.
That will be it for tonight. Hoping for some great results. As always, tail or fade, good luck to all...
