YTD (CBB): 85-65-1 ATS (BIG PLAY!!!: 21-15 ATS)
Been a super great run, 28-11 or something like that over the past 40 games, another strong day yesterday. Bear in mind the record is encompassing of ALL units, the BIG PLAYS are 2 unit plays (or more if you want but for record keeping at 2 units). That means if you take out the big plays you will see the overall record and not just the overall units. Was the easiest way to appease people looking for units while still being transparent and keeping a record.
On to today, loads of games again, and I'm posting early so I can get a few out there. Might be busy so will post sporadically but want to get plays I know I am on in case anyone wants to follow, irrespective of tip off times. I do NOT care about the NBA All-Star game as much as I care about the NBA itself. So won't have a play there. These are the games I am already backing:
OHIO STATE (-1.5)...BIG PLAY!!!: The Buckeyes are at home where they are 10-4 ATS. The last game they won beating MD on a prayer 3 as time was winding down so they won't want to have to battle back here too, and this would be a Quad 1 win. For as good as the Wolverines have been, they really don't cover much, especially on the road where they are a paltry 3-13 ATS and an even worse 3-17 SU in the last 16 played in Columbus!
RIDER (+4.5): Obscure enough game on today's slate to get my attention. I've done well with Rider this year and they are 4-1 ATS over the last 5 played on the road at St. Peters. Not sure this will be a run and gun game, but Rider should keep it close or even win outright.
MANHATTAN (-2.5)...BIG PLAY!!!: Manhattan are 8-1 ATS over past 9 away from home, are 4-1 ATS over last 5 vs. Fairfield, and should win this game by closer to 5-7 points.
OVER 142 (YOUNGSTOWN STATE/CLEVELAND STATE): The last 6 in this matchup have gone OVER and the last 5 that Youngstown State have gone over. Add to that 5 out of the last 6 played in Cleveland State have also gone over and this is a play!
OVER 158 (IOWA/MARYLAND)...HUGE PLAY!!!: Been waiting for this game as Iowa has no defense, doesn't do a good job defending 3's, shoot a ton of 3's themselves, and are playing a MD team that is underrated and looks every bit capable of being one of the final 16 teams left in the upcoming tournament. Iowa on the other hand needs to get victories, or upsets in this case, and so will have to be on their game against a Terrapins team that averages over 80 points a game! Furthermore, the OVER has come in 4 out of the last 5 played in College Park and Iowa have gone over in 7 out of their last 9 games played on the road. Maryland has also gone OVER the total in 9 out of the 15 home games they have had. The total is high for a reason and I expect this game to get over that hump.
That's all I'm taking for the moment, a few other games stuck out but want to try and keep it a bit tighter today, if you can call 5 plays that lol. Hope everyone is having a really strong end to the weekend. As always, tail or fade, good luck to all...
