All my plays are based on a 1 to 3 unit scale to keep things simple.

Well here is a thread for all those CBB cappers that say that you cannot reliably bet the early season before conference games start. Nearly 85 units of profit. Damn. What do you have in store for the 'easy' part of the betting season sing?

The poster who you're referring to who created that patently false thread on opening day is packersbackers. Numerous people told him in that thread how wrong he was yet he thought he was somehow being sharp.

That said, I don't generally find packersbackers to be a dumb guy because he does have the ability to form coherent sentences and think logically to some degree but, at the same time, I've never really seen him right about anything and if often appears he's either trolling in threads or just taking the comedic piss?

I asked him if he was just trolling with that thread, since pre-conference time is an absolute goldmine for bettors who live for college basketball season, but he said he wasn't. My guess is that because packersbackers doesn't know college basketball well and needs to see a good portion of the season play-out before he places wagers, he assumes that everyone else is in the same boat? Either way, it was one of the worst sports betting takes I've ever read because lines only get sharper come conference time with the more data that becomes available on these teams.

Sing - Sorry for the off topic reply in your pick thread, but no one else seemed to know what Vituperate was referring to with his/her comment and I just wanted to put some context to things.

I also know that not everyone is (or can be) successful early on and that everyone will have losing days regardless, so I'm also not saying that everyone "should" be betting more early on rather than later, or any other combination within. It just totally depends on the individual bettor's knowledge and experience, thus there shouldn't be any kind of blanket "rule" that packersbackers was trying to establish on opening day of the season - that's the only point I was making here.

Funny Vit but we all know nothing's ever easy! Anyway, I've always found this time of the season to be more profitable but maybe that's just me. Different strokes for different folks and all that jazz..
