-Starting with the first round of 64 teams (the play in games are not eligible but the winning teams are) entrants will choose eight teams to win straight-up.
-In the second round of 32, entrants will pick four teams to win straight-up.
-In the Sweet 16 round, entrants will pick two teams to win straight-up.
-In the Elite 8 round, entrants will pick just one team to win straight-up.
-Sounds easy? Well, here's the tricky part as you cannot pick the same team more than once!
-ALL PICKS MUST BE SUBMITTED BEFORE THE START OF EACH ROUND.
Second Phase - Points:
-For the entrants who make it to the Final Four unscathed, pick the final four and champion (with points in the final), before the final four games. The final four games are worth five points each the winning pick will count as 10 points.
-Tiebreaker, choose the points total for the championship game.

So just to confirm.....each player has to go undefeated throughout each of the rounds, correct? Just making sure that it's not a cumulative record (i.e. someone goes 8-0, 4-0, 1-1, 1-0)......

does this mean you just pick the 3 game results regardless of if you have them as a team remaining to pick?
for example, say I use Baylor in the sweet 16 and they make the final four does it matter? Or if I think they are going to make the final four I shouldn’t pick them? Or does part 2 have nothing to do with part 1. How many points do you get for each correct in part 1?
im usually not dense and this sounds like a original concept, not sure why I can’t follow it.
