Cuse line down....

Really worrying about this one now as I have Syracuse in my survivor pool and seeing the line drop a full point is not helping. Unfortunately I only have , Mich st, L'ville, Marq, Cuse, Cincy, OHST left for that day and I hate blowing OHST and Mich St early. This pool started out with over 2000 people at $100 an entry and there are only 98 left....need a winner, is Cuse the best option? Curious to hear thoughts...

Oops misleading thread title. Wisconsin or nothing is the way I am leaning in this game. The Badgers matchup perfectly with the way Syracuse plays.

Man that's tough. I think you just want to survive as long as possible so use tOSU instead of losing with the Cuse. Sucks you already used uk and KU

Can't pick NCST yet, they play Friday but I have to be honest, no way I could pick them over Kansas, great pick with points maybe but not SU with $200,000 on the line. FSU....I think Wisconsin matches up well with anyone, due to their defense but their problem is their offense. No doubt Wisc will hold SYR below their avg. scoring mark but I think there is too much fire power for the Cuse. Biggest key to me is how Vandy slowed down Wisc in the 2nd half and by doing what.... a 2-3 zone which they do not even play well. Syracuse has their 2-3 zone working well and will slow down Wisy's already bad offense. I appreciate your input but I would love to hear more how Wisc matches up well with them.

GWarner.....I haven't used Kentucky or Kansas yet however the problem is they play on Friday.... I have to pick 1 team each day so my plan was Syr on Thurs and Kansas on Fri.

As to the L'ville comment, Pitino won't get his boys over the 60 mark, sorry but that won't be good enough for the W in my book.

My options that in my mind reallistic for Thursday are CUSE, MICHST, or OHST. I have been in this pool for several years now rarely does it make it to the championship game but this one is setting up differently....way too many good team left to grind it out. I see this one coming down to the favorites (Kentucky and UNC/OHST...depending on UNC's performance without their PG)

I would take OSU it's called a survivor pool just survive.  I like Wisconsin to win that game.  Look at the public betting trends like 65% of public on cuse yet line drops.   Vegas wants everyone on Cuse Take OSU, that's coming from a Michigan fan

Candyman, I am starting to lean that way more and more. Before this tourney started I had SYR losing to K-ST so them making it this far is a shock to me. I actually picked Kentucky/OHST in the Championship game however I picked OHST in majority of my brackets because the %'s were better since 75% of our bracket pool picked Kentucky. I hate taking OHST so early but I really think this week we will see atleast one #1 seed fall, whether it be SYR or UNC.....thank you for your input

cuse will take this. I am very confident. they came off a real solid win, and look sharp on D. However, In survivor pools I never agree with the strategy to save anybody. Like a couple other posters have said, just survive as long as possible and make the tough decisions down the road when you have to. Out of 98 people, I would say you will lose about half. If you are very confident in ohio state, then take them. Cant use them in the elite 8 if you lose this round.
